Colt Lightning Small Frame .22 caliber rifle, Serial Number 14249 The rifle has a nicely figured walnut stock and checkered forearm. The receiver has a gray color, 24 inch octagon barrel and 15 shot half-magazine shows some remaining blue. The barrel has a standard dove-tail mounted steel front sight and fixed rear sight. "22 CAL" is boldly stamped on the left side of the barrel between the rear sight and receiver. The Rampant Colt trademark is roll-stamped on the left side of the reciever. Made 1890
