Colt SAA Revolver with Nickel finish Colt

Antique Black Powder, Colt SAA .45 caliber revolver with antique ivory grips and a Colt Factory Letter. Front sight has been replaced with a German silver front blade, and the barrel has been cut down to the present length, top of barrel marked “Colt’s PT. F.A. MFG. Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A.”, The patent stamp on the frame reads “PAT. Sept. 19, 1871, July 2, 72”. Listed as shipping to Schuyler, Hartley & Graham, New York, New York on October 7, 1876. Originally shipped with blue finish but was re-nickeled a long time ago. Barrel length 4 ¾”, SN 24365. In good mechanical condition.
