Group of Three Prehistoric Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) Corrugated Ollas, Ca. 1200AD
Handmade using the coil and scrape method, these utilitarian vessels showcase the distinct corrugated texture created by pinching the clay coils during construction. This technique was functional, serving to strengthen the pot walls, control heat during cooking, and provide a secure grip.
