This piece showcases traditional, likely hand-spun, wool in naturalistic shades of undyed grey, tan, and cream, accented with rich dark brown borders and two vivid, possibly aniline-dyed, red diamond motifs. The design is iconic of weavings from the Crystal Trading Post region, featuring a central rectangular motif connected by dynamic lightning-like zig-zag lines to smaller square elements in the four corners, representing the four sacred mountains.
