Large Hopi Antelope Pot

Hopi Pot, Delaine Tootsie Chee (b. 1962) of the First Mesa Village of Sichomovi on the Hopi Reservation and is a member of the Roadrunner Clan. She is the winner of numerous awards for her pottery. This pot is of a warm cream color, with broad shoulders, featuring geometric, avain, and whirling log motifs, circling the vessel in repeating patterns, base inscribed “D. TooTsie. Asa. Hopi”
