Lot of Four Hopi Polychrome Bowls

Four Hopi Bowls, Delaine Tootsie Chee (b. 1962) of the First Mesa Village of Sichomovi on the Hopi Reservation and is a member of the Roadrunner Clan. She is the winner of numerous awards for her pottery. These pots are hand-coiled of local clay, stone-polished, and outdoor-fired to a warm ivory tone, each bowl decorated in iron-red and black mineral/vegetal paints with traditional motifs, each base inscribed “D. TooTsie. Asa. Hopi”
