Large and unusual Zia 4-Color Storage Jar with Pueblo Home Use, featuring encircling rosette and leaf medallions, linked by red, stepped rain-cloud motifs, the neck band showing diagonally hatched rain lines, the upper body and shoulder rounded. This magnificent turn of the century jar was made by a very skilled potter. 16 3/4"H, 17"D; Ca. 1890s; Very good condition with ethnographic surface wear, minor chips and cracks; no restoration, original condition.
