A superb example of mid-century Navajo craftsmanship, this robust and tightly woven rug exhibits the classic characteristics of the Chinle Revival style.
Navajo Robust, tight and firm blanket or rug. The design features repeating horizontal bands of geometric diamond motifs (often seen as interlocking "G" shapes) in rich red, black, and natural ivory/cream colors, set against a background of natural, undyed tan/beige wool. Substantial size suitable for display on a wall or as a floor rug.
