This rare 1890s Arapaho pipe bag is made from native tanned hide and showcases traditional Plains Indian beadwork. The top panel is accented with beadwork along the edge and fringe at the opening, while the lower panel features a white beaded background with geometric triangles in blue, navy, and brown. A beautifully braided fringe completes the design.
This authentic 19th-century piece reflects the artistry and craftsmanship of the Arapaho people and is preserved in excellent condition.
