This rare 1890s Blackfeet pipe bag is sinew sewn on supple native hide and showcases fine Plains Indian beadwork. The top features four tabs with beaded trim, while the main panel displays a traditional geometric pattern of bisected triangles on a white beaded background. A long fringe completes this classic form.
A beautiful example of Blackfeet craftsmanship, the bag shows careful detailing throughout and remains in excellent condition for its age.
