Stunning Rawlins Wyoming Prison Braided Bridle – Kangaroo or Calf-Skin Leather with Custom Stand
Braided bridle crafted at the Wyoming State Penitentiary, likely from calf-skin or kangaroo leather. This finely executed example features a five-stead brow with double knots and tassels. The leather retains its original dark patina, showing excellent overall condition and authentic age.
Adorned with pinked, double-stacked conchos displaying heart and star designs, the bridle also includes split reins with double sliders. A stunning example of Wyoming penitentiary workmanship, representing both Western history and collectible prison art.
