This rare 1880s Sioux child’s vest is sinew sewn on old buffalo hide and beautifully adorned with glass seed beads. The design features a white beaded background with blue trim and traditional geometric patterns. Red and blue ribbon ties—often symbolizing sacred unity—enhance its ceremonial appearance.
The vest shows authentic signs of ethnic wear and minor bead loss, consistent with age. A custom display stand is included for presentation.
